Preventative Care Screening

class details

Are all of your preventative screening tests up to date?

Wondering if all those tests are necessary when you are already feeling well?

Do you have questions about screening and what you can do to reduce your cancer risk?

Preventative care screening, such as mammograms and pap and colorectal cancer testing (FIT) are easy and effective ways to detect early cancerous changes. Ensuring that these tests are up to date can help to reduce your risk of serious illness and lead to more successful treatment outcomes in those diagnosed with disease.

Join us via Zoom for this one hour virtual presentation where we will discuss cancer trends in Canada, risk factors, cancer screening and its importance and choices that you can make on a daily basis to reduce your risk.

This session will be facilitated by a nurse practitioner and registered nurse from the Credit Valley Family Health Team.
