Nutrition and Osteoporosis
Ensuring a healthy diet is an easy and effective way to support bone health as we age. Join us via Zoom for this one hour virtual session where we will provide general healthy eating recommendations for adults aged 50 and over with a specific focus on bone health. Discussion topics will include:
- osteoporosis and bone health basics
- nutrient requirements for necessary for achieving bone health
- how to understand Canada's Food Guide
- how to use a screening tool to assess your risk of osteoporosis
This webinar will be facilitated by two registered dieticians from the Credit Valley Family Health Team
